Running

I was never really big into running until I went to college. It was then that I started to become more interested in running and I started to actually like it. During my Sophomore year I decided I wanted to start running some races.

Krispy Kreme Challenge
February 2009
Before the race, looking a liiiittle sleepy.

2 miles to Krispy Kreme, 12 donuts, 2 miles back. But, NO I did not eat any donuts. I chose to run back with mine and eat them throughout the week/share them with my suite mates :) Pretty sure my body/stomach appreciated that.

We ran the whole way together, and finished in about 50 minutes!

Disney Princess Half Marathon
February 2012

My first half marathon! I dressed up as Minnie Mouse, ran with a friend, and had an incredible time stopping along the way to take pictures with some of my favorite characters!
Official time: 2 hours 57 minutes (that's what happens when you stop & wait in line multiple times to get pictures taken!)
Garmin time (I paused my watch everytime we stopped running): 2 hours 15 minutes.
